Oasis, the rock band from the 1990s Britpop era, announced a 38-date tour for 2027 that will take them to Britain, Ireland, mainland Europe and the United States.
The tour will kick off with five shows in Glasgow in May 2027, followed by a second leg in Manchester at the Etihad Stadium, where the band will perform 11 dates. Other stops include cities such as Munich, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Paris, Rome, Boston, Las Vegas and Slane Castle, Ireland, before the tour concludes with four shows at Knebworth, southern England, in September 2027.
Knebworth has a special place in the band’s history, having hosted two 1996 concerts that drew a combined 250,000 people. The band said standard ticket prices would be fixed between $96 and $360, in what appeared to be a response to complaints about ticketing issues during previous tours. The tour announcement was accompanied by a new ticket registration process. Registration for ticket access began on September 15, 2026, and will end on September 17, 2026. Tickets will go on sale on September 25, 26, and 27, 2026.
Richard Ashcroft will be the special guest for the tour. The band’s previous tour in 2025, which included a residency at Knebworth, was estimated to have generated £300 million. In a statement, the band said, “Start the celebrations,” and added, “Come witness the fitness. It shall be a sight to behold.”
Noel Gallagher, the band’s main songwriter, and Liam Gallagher, the lead singer, are brothers who split in 2009 because of tension between them. A documentary about the reunion tour, “Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger,” was shown at the Venice Film Festival in September 2026. The band was discovered by Alan McGee of Creation Records in Glasgow in 1993. The announcement was made on September 15, 2026, along with a new trailer and promotional materials.
